Otonomy and Meniere's Disease

Otonomy and Meniere's Disease

Mr Rea has spent the weekend in London with Otonomy - an international biotechnology company based in the USA.

Having completed 2 years work with the company trialling novel drugs that can be injected through the ear drum to treat Meniere’s Disease, Mr Rea has signed up as a Principle Investigator for the next phase of the study.

He will be looking for patients with frequent attacks of one sided Meniere’s Disease which is currently active. The Meniere’s Society will have details.

NHS patients may be able to enrol through the Leicester Royal Infirmary if their GP writes to him there, whilst private patients can see Mr Rea at the London Road Clinic to discuss their needs.
