Otolaryngology Book Chapter

Mr Rea was relieved to be able to at last submit his book chapter on acute otitis media in children (that is children’s troublesome ear infections) to the editors of Scott Brown Otolaryngology.

This is the leading international multivolume text book of ear nose and throat surgery. It was a particular honour to be asked to write this for a second time having provided the chapter for the last edition 12 years ago. It has been a labour of love reviewing over 5000 scientific abstracts to get up to the minute advice for colleagues treating children’s ears.

Be warned: if your child has ear problems Mr Rea will have a lot to talk about!
