Race for Life

Race for Life

Mel Elsa and Caren took part in the Race for life for Cancer research UK on 9th June 2019 in the 5k event held in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Elsa had been suffering from a chest infection prior to the event but luckily was well enough on the day to take part in memory of her Grandma that meant so much to her. Cancer has affected all of their lives and taking part in this event meant so much to them and jointly they raised £845! The Loughborough event raised over 40 thousand pounds for Cancer Research UK helping such a worthy cause. It was emotional at times and also lots of fun! Well done Mel Elsa and Caren!
