14th Leicester Balance Course

Professor Rea has just run his 14th Leicester Balance Course, a 3 training course for specialists who attend from all over the world. He welcomed 44 doctors and allied specialists, along with his international teaching faculty, to De Montfort University. Many new techniques for treating those with dizziness were demonstrated. For medical staff, Professor Rea is pleased to confirm next years course will run from 16-18 September 2020.

Professor Rea visits Uzbekistan

October 2019 Professor Rea has now returned from Uzbekistan where he was invited to lecture inTashkent on middle ear hearing reconstruction surgery, and separately on the management of dizziness. A wonderful trip had been arranged by the local organising team

Professor Rea Steps Down as Chairman of British Society of Neuro-otology

On Friday October 11th 2019 Professor Rea organised his last meeting as Chairman of the British Society of Neuro-otology. It has been an honour for him to Chair this distinguished national organisation for 6 years. Exciting developments in the world of balance and dizziness have been presented at the biennial meetings during this period. Professor Rea will still be involved and will host the major meeting in Leicester in 2021.
